What Is the First Step You Take Towards Business Failure?

You lose sight of the objective (delighted customers) and begin to focus on obstacles (daily problems).

Henry Ford said, "Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal."

The goal in any business is to meet the customer's need with quality and help them to feel good in the process.

That's the root...profitability is the fruit.

Peter Drucker, in The Practice of Management says,"there is only one valid definition of a business purpose: to create a customer."

Jack Welch, former CEO of GE says it well, "the only job security any of us have is a satisfied customer."

When a business loses sight of that...you know the result.
